Established?

In 2 Kings 24, Jehoiachin whose means established by God, misused his God given opportunity by following the way of evil. His name also means prepared by God, to be stable, fortified or fixed. However, He did not allow God to prepare Him and be used for God's purposes.

Are you happy? are you contented? are you sometimes envious? are you where you should be on the way to where you are going? are you complete in God?

To be established is to be resolute, unshaken, unmovable in your stand for Christ and for God. If Daniel had not been not established, he would have turned his back on God when he was thrown into the lions den for his faithful service for God. He could have asked `which kind of God would allow His own faithful to be arrested? convicted? and on the way to being thrown to the lions as a festive dinner to hungry carnivorous animals? He could have concluded that if this God He was serving was powerless to even deliver him from these unfaithful colleagues in the ruling cabinet; he was not going to serve God anymore. Thank God Daniel did not doubt or waver in his faith, otherwise, he would have served as a festive delicacy to the lions.

You need to be established to be preserved to the end without reproach or shame.

who will also keep you stedfast to the very End, so that you will be free from reproach on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. WNT - 1 Corinthians 1:8

to the end he may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all his saints. - 1 Thessalonians 3:13

God will establish you through His comfort and faithfulness as you yield to Him and allow Him work in you and through you. Remember, God who  has kept you from the day you were born to this time and will yet keep you. Stay in faith, knowing that He will yet keep you and make ways for you.

Now to him who is able to establish you according to my Good News and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery which has been kept secret through long ages, ..to the only wise God, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever! Amen. -Romans 16:24,26
